How a hand plays out

Place a bet and two cards go to you, two to the dealer. From there the decision is yours: take another card with Hit, or freeze the hand with Stand. Double pushes your bet up and deals exactly one more card, no more. Split appears when your two cards share a value, splitting them into two hands with a matching second bet.

Insurance only becomes available when the dealer's face-up card is an ace, and it costs half your main bet. Whoever finishes closer to 21 without going over takes the round; identical totals end in a push and the stake comes back. The bet amount itself adjusts through the x2 and /2 buttons rather than by typing, which keeps a doubling sequence quick to run.

The house rules that shape the odds

Eight standard 52-card decks go into every round, so card counting has nothing to hold on to across hands. Beyond that, five details do most of the work on the maths:

• only one split is permitted per hand, so a second matching pair cannot be split again;
• split aces receive one card each and cannot be hit afterwards;
• doubling is allowed on either of your first two cards, and also after a split;
• if both you and the dealer hold a natural blackjack, the round is a push and the bet returns;
• when the dealer has a natural blackjack the hand ends immediately, and any insurance taken pays out.

Pro Mode: Perfect Pairs and 21+3

Switching from Base Game to Pro Mode adds two side bets on top of the standard round. Both need an Ante Bet in place first, and both are settled on the opening cards rather than on how the hand finishes.

Perfect Pairs pays when your first two cards make a pair. Not every pair is worth the same: three different pair types carry three different odds, so a matched suit is worth considerably more than a coincidence of rank.

21+3 borrows from poker. Your opening two cards plus the dealer's face-up card are read together as a three-card hand, and the bet pays when those three combine into one of the qualifying poker combinations.

Neither side bet changes the main game, and both can sit idle if you would rather play the base table. They do change the shape of a session though: the base game grinds slowly at 99.51%, while side bets add variance in exchange for the occasional larger hit. Hi-Lo works on a similar principle if you like card outcomes resolved in a single beat.

Provably fair dealing

Every shuffle runs through the same random process used across the in-house catalogue, and the platform cannot influence it.
